This Privacy Policy describes SPL’s treatment of personally identifiable information that SPL collects when User (“Customer”) is on the SPL’s website. SPL does not collect any unique information about the User (such as User’s name, email address, age, gender etc.) except when the User specifically and knowingly provide such information on the Website. Like any business interested in offering the highest quality of service to clients, SPL may, from time to time, send an email and other communication to the User informing them about the various services, features, functionality and content offered by SPL website or seek voluntary information from customer such as Name (including title), Address, Country, Phone/contact number, Email address, Gender, Date of birth, Anniversary Date, customers IP address, Order details, Query, I need help with (Subject), Comments etc. SPL runs and operate multiple websites which may result in sharing of personal data inter-platform for order processing and reporting within company. Please be aware, however, that SPL will release specific personal information about the User if required to do so in the following circumstances:
1. in order to comply with any valid legal process such as a search warrant, statute, or court order, or
2. if any of User’s actions on SPL’s website violate the Terms of Service or any of Sandu Pharmaceuticals Ltd.’s guidelines for specific services, or
3. to protect or defend SPL’s legal rights or property, the SPL site, or SPL’s Users; or
4. To investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the security, integrity of SPL website/offerings.

We at SPL (“Website / We”) endeavor to protect customer’s privacy. That is why SPL insist on highest standards of secure transactions. By accepting the User Agreement, customer expressly consent to SPL’s use and disclosure of his Personal Information in accordance and compliance with this Privacy Policy.
- Collection and Use of Personal Information
This Privacy Policy explains how SPL collects personal and non-personal data and information, classified as mandatory or voluntary and uses, discloses and protects such information through the Website. Personal Information for the purposes of this Privacy Policy shall include, but not be limited to, information regarding customer name, address, telephone number, date of birth, gender, e-mail address, etc. (“Personal Information / Personal Data”). Customer may be required to provide SPL with her/his Personal Information during the course of using the Website for instance, at the time of creating a User ID or providing financial information while making an online purchase, uploading content, participating in any online survey or contest, at the time of communicating with Website’s customer service by phone, email or otherwise, at the time of providing reviews of the content available on the Website, all however only with her/his express consent each time. The Website collects only such Personal Information which it believes to be relevant and necessary to better understand her/his needs and/or to notify her/him of any updated information and activities that may interest her/him and/or to support her/his relationship with the Website and/or to prevent fraud and unlawful use. SPL uses this information to develop and improve SPL products and services and SPL customer relationships. SPL will do this based on SPL products and services.
- How SPL use customers Personal Information / Personal Data
The Personal Data that the Website collects may be processed and used for the purposes of operating SPL Website, providing SPL services, and for the purposes of invoicing, and order processing, ensuring the security of our Website and services, maintaining back-ups of our databases and communicating with the customer.
SPL may collect and process data about customer use of SPL Website and services (“Usage Data“). The Usage Data may include customer IP address, geographical location, browser type and version, operating system, referral source, length of visit, page views and Website navigation paths, as well as information about the timing, frequency and pattern of customers service use. The source of the Usage Data is our analytics tracking system. This Usage Data may be processed for the purposes of analysing the use of the website and services. SPL use third party platforms for processing orders, order tracking, etc. Under such circumstances SPL may be required to share the Personal Information given by customer with the third parties, to add value and improve the quality of services imparted by SPL to the customer. SPL shall take all reasonable steps to ensure that the confidentiality of Personal Information of customer is maintained by imposing strict confidentiality standards on all the third parties, including recipients such as distributors in various states of India , with whom we part this Personal Information. In all circumstances we shall ensure that customer’s Personal Information is protected by strict confidentiality agreement. We shall not allow any third parties to retain customers Personal Information longer than what is warranted by the nature of services rendered.
SPL would also impart customers Personal Information wherever it is required to be disclosed under law to any of the governmental agency or regulatory bodies. SPL may share aggregated information that may include Personal Information with third parties for industry analysis, demographic profiling and other purposes.
SPL may collect and process information contained in any enquiry submitted by customer to SPL regarding goods and/or services (“enquiry data“). The enquiry data may be processed for the purposes of analysis, offering, marketing, sending marketing e-mailers, and selling relevant goods and/or services to the customer. For the purpose of collecting and processing enquiry data, SPL uses tools and APIs. SPL may also redirect all export queries that we may receive through the Website to respective distributor in particular country to connect and explore business opportunity.
SPL may collect and process information relating to our customer relationships, including customer contact information (“customer relationship data“). The customer relationship data may include name of customer, his employer, his job title or role, contact details, and information contained in communications between us and customer or customer’s employeee etc. The customer relationship data may be processed for the purposes of managing SPL relationships with customers, communicating with customers, keeping records of those communications and promoting SPL goods and services to customers, basis our legitimate interests, namely the proper administration of SPL Website and business and communications with users.

The correspondence data may include the communication content such as customer’s medical queries, order queries, queries related to availability of products, and metadata associated with the communication. SPL Website will generate the metadata associated with communications made using the Website contact forms. The correspondence data may be processed for the purposes of communicating with customer and record-keeping, basis SPL legitimate interests, namely the proper administration of SPL Website and business and communications with users. SPL may also share user correspondence data with respective empanelled doctors when customer access SPL Website / connect with us in any mode or platform for free consultation.
SPL may also process customers Personal Data or any part or item thereof, identified in this Privacy Policy, where necessary for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims or enforcement of rights, whether in court proceedings or in an administrative or out-of-court procedure, or for compliance with a legal obligation to which we are subject. The legal basis for this processing is our legitimate interests, namely the protection and assertion of our legal rights, customer’s legal and fundamental rights and the legal rights of others.

- Safeguard/s to protect customers Personal Information
SPL Website has stringent security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse, and alteration of the Personal Information under our control. SPL have implemented several measures to ensure security and data protection. SPL ensure that the Personal Information given to us by customer on the Website is placed in the secured portion of the website. SPL use the most advanced encryption technology, Secure Socket Layer (SSL), (To be confirmed by TSBI) to ensure that the information transmitted between customer and us across the Internet is safe and cannot be accessed by any outsider. SSL has been universally accepted on the World Wide Web for authenticated and encrypted communication between clients and servers. Once customer’s information is in our possession, we adhere to strict security guidelines, protecting it against unauthorized access and data breaches. In the event of occurrence of a Personal Data breach, we have strict guidelines and measures to notify the designated supervisory authority to ensure minimized risks to the rights of the customers. SPL further also notify the customers / User of the Personal Data breach without any undue delay. Further, for online payments, we have adopted RazorPay’s systems which is secured and fully compliant with PCI DSS version 3.2.The third party payment aggregator may collect customer Personal Information for processing payments, and therefore, we advise to read their privacy policies made available on their website. We do not collect or store any bank account details of our customers on our Website or anywhere else.

SPL retains customers Personal Data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes we collected it for, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, accounting, service or reporting requirements. To determine the appropriate retention period for Personal Data, SPL consider the amount, nature, and sensitivity of the Personal Data, the potential risk of harm from unauthorised use or disclosure of customers Personal Data, the purposes for which we process customers Personal Data and whether we can achieve those purposes through other means, and the applicable legal provisions.
